This week in Millbrook Football
Monday & Tuesday
Arrive BY 5:45 am for weigh-in. Practice 6-9 am
Bring/Wear: Helmet, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, girdle, cleats, sneakers, water bottle, MASK
Coach will pass out picture forms
VARSITY will receive their GAME UNIFORMs after practice for pictures
Wednesday - Practice, Picture Day & Varsity Scrimmage
JV Practice & Pictures: 7-10:30am
JV Practice: Weigh-in by 6:45 am, practice 7-9 am. Bring/wear: Helmet, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, girdle, cleats, sneakers, water bottle, MASK (picture forms & money)
JV Pictures: Following football practice, Coach will pass out game uniforms for the JV team to change into for pictures. Players do NOT wear pads for the pictures. Headshots will be taken for buttons and then the official pictures for the yearbook will be taken. They should be done by 10:30 am for pickup.
SENIOR Pictures - Arrive at 7:30 am in your GAME UNIFORM WITH FULL PADS AND CLEATS. We will meet at the stadium. Seniors will stay for varsity pictures. If you are getting LifeTouch pics, bring your forms/money. Some pics will be in full gear and some will not
Juniors & Sophomores on Varsity Pictures - Arrive BY 9 am (Stadium). Wear game uniforms for headshots & pictures (no pads). Can be picked up at 10:30 am. If you are getting LifeTouch pics, bring your forms/money
Varsity Scrimmage: The varsity team will scrimmage AT Durham County Stadium at 6 pm.
Players will ARRIVE at MILLBROOK BY 3:45 pm
Players MUST wear a MASK on the bus to and from the scrimmage
Bring/Wear: Helmet, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, girdle, cleats, water bottle, MASK
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online or cash at the gate

Anyone can attend the scrimmage
Thursday & Friday
Arrive BY 5:45 am for weigh-in. Practice 6-9 am

Saturday - Field Clean-up (7-10am), Kickoff Event, Team Meeting & Silent Auction 11am-1pm)
It is a mandatory event for all families.
Field Clean-Up - 7-10am
Varsity and JV players and parents should arrive at the Football Stadium at 7 am
If you have any of these items, please bring them with you:
Shovels
Rakes
Pitchforks
Wheelbarrows
String trimmers
Weed eaters
Blowers
Spray tanks
Weedkiller - Roundup
Hedge clippers
Pruners/loppers
Gloves
Players should log their community service hours HERE afterward
Kickoff Event & Team Meeting - 11am-1pm
Our kickoff event will look a little different than in years past thanks to Covid. WCPSS requires masks to be worn in all Wake Co buildings. So this year, weather dependent, we will have the majority of our event outside. Please bring a mask as the silent auction and other activities will be indoors.
We will have a tailgate-style event outside from 11 am-1 pm.
Each family should bring:
Chairs
Tent (if you have one but not required)
Something for you and your family to eat for lunch
Masks to go indoors
Snacks & drinks for the season if you haven't brought them yet
We will set up outside of the cafeteria in front of the school in the small parking lot (look for the white Millbrook tent)
Coach will have our mandatory meeting with families outside so people don't have to wear masks the whole time we are together.
Spirit Wear & Team Gear: If you did not pick up your items from STORE #1, we will have them at the event
Each family will get a card with items available for purchase. It helps with the checkout process. The following items will be available for purchase at the event (indoors):
Photo Buttons (1 for $7, each additional $5)
Vintage Millbrook Jerseys
JV Meals ($70 per player - reduced from $80 as we will not have a pre-game JV meal on 8/19)
Senior Fee ($20 per senior)
Sponsor a Meal or donations
The following payment types will be accepted for the silent auction, meals, senior fees, jerseys, buttons, donations, etc.

Payments - if you cannot pay for your JV meal or senior fee at the event, Kristin Broughton will accept payments on other dates
Wildcat Club Memberships - Michelle Snead from the Wildcat Club will be selling memberships. Family memberships are $180 if purchased by 9/17. Membership includes tickets for ALL regular season HOME games for ALL sports. Bring the completed membership form and payment to the Membership table. 100% of the money stays with Millbrook Athletics.
Family Membership & VIP Parking Spot Raffle 11-11:30 am: Raffle tickets are $20 each. The drawing will be at 11:30 am.
Silent Auction - Bid between 11am-12pm
We have several great items in our silent auction this year. Here are a few details about the auction:
Items will be set up INDOORs
Each item has a bid sheet with the retail value, starting bid, and bid increments on it.
You can bid on items up until 12:00pm when the bidding ends.
If you win an item, you must PAY IN FULL at the end of the event. If you do not pay in full, the item may go to the person who bid before you.
Credit/debit cards, checks payable to 'Millbrook Wildcat Club' and cash will be accepted.
Winners will be announced at the end of Coach Inscore's meeting. You will then be able to go in and pay for your items/pick up your items
The silent auction is open to anyone so if you know someone who likes to bid on great items, have them join us between 11-12pm.
Buttons
The football club sells buttons with your player's headshot on it. We only place 1 order for buttons. You must PRE-ORDER the buttons BY SATURDAY 8/14. Orders will be placed on 8/15 with hopes that they will be back for the first game (maybe 2nd game). There are 2 ways to order:

We have asked to have Store #3 extended until Tuesday at 11:59 pm.
Volunteer for Concessions
Click HERE to sign up to work CONCESSIONS. We ask each family to sign up for at least 1 event. JV parents work Varsity games. Varsity parents work JV games. The goal is to have all spots filled by 8/15.
